I have the same behaviour using any -b <sewl>
(I have a Dlink AP1000)

I get

[root@shax ]# ap-mrtg -i 10.10.10.19 -b 00055df22439 -c r1pp3d-c0m -t w
999999999
99999999
-

[root@shax ]# ap-mrtg -i 10.10.10.19 -b 00055df22439 -c public -t e
999999999
99999999
-

[root@shax ]# ap-mrtg -i 10.10.10.19 -b 00055df22439 -c public -t s
999999999
99999999
-

[root@shax ]# ap-mrtg -i 10.10.10.19 -b 00055df22439 -c public -t l
999999999
99999999
-

tracing tcpdump I see it's the oid which is wrong
